Cal: Well look who decided to show up.
Player:
a. (What is this?) So, what exactly is going on here?
b. (Where have you been?)
c. (Need my help?) Is there anything I can do to help out
Cal:
a. We set up this little base to organize the offensive we are mounting against Gammorin. I guess you could call it a war council of sorts. The goal is to bring together as many enemies of Gammorin as possible and wipe him off the face of the Earth.
Player:
a. (Gammorin) Why does everyone hate Gammorin?
b. (Defenses) What kind of defenses are we going up against?
c. (Allies) Who do we have fighting with us so far?
d. (Back)
Cal:
a. Well, everyone has their own reasons, but the general consensus is because he is a slaver with a massive army he uses to take whatever he wants. That and the whole bit about curing super mutant sterility and killing all the humans...
b. The biggest challenge is that he is hiding deep in the Glowing Sea, so standard human troops won't be able to touch him. Then we have the giant gate that blocks the only path through the mountains. According to a runaway slave, there are two large anti-aircraft guns on the gate and a dozen or so EMP generators in the field preventing anything high-tech, like myself, from getting within 300 yards of the gate.
c.
- We have the Blue Bandit and his robot army ready to storm the front gate. He apparently has designed a bomb capable of blowing the gate right open.
- The super mutants from Duke's settlement will provide a good sized force for a head on attack. They also have a behemoth on their side.
- The Minutemen are ready to go with their power armored troops.
- The Reavers have provided a specialized attack force primarily of snipers. If they can get to a good vantage point, they will be great support.
- That Hancock guy has a vertibird and a whole mob of ghouls ready to help with the assault.
- That's about it.
b. I've been working... What did you think I was doing, getting a massage? I was investigating several super mutant attacks that lead me to that Duke Adams fellow. Good guy, old friend of mine. Then I went undercover to gather intel on the Blue Bandit. Now I'm helping to bring this War Council together so we can kill these ancient bastards.
c.
- The Blue Bandit hates Gammorin as much as anyone. He also has a sizable robot army. If you could convince him to join our cause it would really boost our chances.
- There is a super mutant named Duke Adams that is gathering the super mutants of Boston against Gammorin. You should head over to Brain Tree and get his support.
- The Minutemen seem ready to help, but without power armor they wouldn't survive the trip into the Glowing Sea. Talk to Jumping Beam Taylor about getting his men properly equipped.
- I know the Reavers are dangerous and all, but I am sure someone over there would hate Gammorin enough to lend us a hand. They have been fighting him as long as I have, dating back to the days of the Calculator.
- Gammorin has been raiding Hancock's caravans left and right. He doesn't take kindly to people messing with his stuff. Head over to Goodneighbor and ask him if he is ready to fight back.
