Emma: Well, I kindof fix things... Like the tech and guns and robots and stuff.
Player: a. That's cool, you must be pretty smart then.
b. Oh, so you can fix the rocket launcher I broke over that Super Mutant's head!
c. I guess it doesn't matter if you can't talk, as long as you keep things working.
Emma: Ya... I guess so...

Player: a. Those are some pretty cool robots you are working on.

Emma: Oh, those things. Just some prototypes I have been experementing with. I have'nt got any of them to work yet but I've been studying Cal and the Pacification Bot for ideas. I hope I can someday get a new robot working.
Player: a. That's awesome, I've always been interested in how robots work but I could never build one.
b. Wow, that's the most words I have ever heard you speak... You must really like robots.
c. Don't you need a whole team of scientists to make a robot?
Emma: a. I didn't think you would be into things like that... Hmmm, you can come look at my robots anytime you like.
b. Well... There is just so much to say about robots.
c. Well... I guess so, but I still try.
Player: a. I look forward to hearing updates on your robots.

Emma: Ohhh... Hi
Player: a. So you're still being shy around me?
b. You should really learn how to talk to people.
Emma: Sorry... I'm just not used to being around a lot of people.
Player: a. You mean you don't spend a lot of time talking to the animals?
b. Talking is overated.
c. I is kindof boring here... animals... robots... not much conversation.
Emma: a and c. Well... me and animals don't exactly get along too well... When I was younger the pigs would always chase me around...
b. Ok. *Ends Conversation*
Player: a. Oh, I bet you were scared.
b. That's hilarious! What did you do?
Emma: I ran... I would hide behind Cal for protection, but he would just laugh at me...
Player: a. What a jerkface!
b. Ha ha
Emma: So late on when he was on the charger, I modified his speaker unit to make pig calls. Those pigs followed him around like he was their mother for a whole week before he figured out what was up.

Emma: Ohhh... Hi
Player: So, what ever got you into building machines?
Emma: Well... I was never very good at many things growing up. I always end up finding a way to catch the kitchen of fire, or letting the bramen out of the pen, or shooting myself in the foot when I holster my gun...
But I always had my mother's notes and manuscripts to read. She was a genius scribe in the Brotherhood of Steel. Through studying her writing I felt somehow connected with her.

a. How did you catch the kitchen on fire?
Emma: Well... I was just trying to make lemonade and... Long story...
Player: a. You caught lemonade on fire! I gotta hear that story.
b. Remind me not to have you cook for me... ever... *Return to Pick Multiple*

b. Shot yourself in the foot? I better not let you close to my rocket launcher...
Emma: Yeah... That would probably be a good thing to keep away from me... *Return to Pick Multiple*
c. Your mom was part of the Brotherhood?
Emma: Yea, she was the top scribe for Talon Squad in the Midwest region.

a. I didn't know there were Brotherhood of Steel in that part of the country
b. What kind of stuff did she work on?

Emma: a. They were sent out east from Lost Hills to track down Super Mutant threats before they spread. However, their airship crashed around Chicago.
Player: a. Hmm... I wonder why I have never heard of them.
b. ok *Return to Pick Multiple - Em2*
Emma: a. They eventually went as far west as Colorado to fight a robot army. They ended up spread so thing that they just became part of the locals they were protecting as opposed to a separate entity. There are only a few functioning squads remaining.
Player: a. Robot army?

Emma: a. Cal would be the one to ask about that, he was part of the robot army. *Return to Pick Multiple EM1*

Emma: Oh... Hi
Player: So, you are the farmer's daughter, right?
Emma: Ya, he is my dad. We don't have too much in common, but he is the nicest and hardest working person and a great dad.
Player: a. Isn't he from a Vault? How did he meet your mother?
b. Super scientist mother and farmer father, that's an interesting mix. Is there a story behind that?
c. Ok *End Conversation*
Emma: Please don't ever ask Teller the story of how he met my mother... He will ramble on for years before he finally gets to the point... Long story short, they were working together on ways to spread fresh food to as many people around the Wasteland as possible. Also, they were both genetically pure so it made sense in a reproduction sense.

b. What were your parents trying to do with the food?
Emma: When the Brotherhood rescued the Vault 54 farms from the Reaver Movement. my mother made it her new passion to spread the ability to grow fresh food like they found there to all of the Wasteland. She was creating tech and chemicals to help make it easier for settlements everywhere to start farming sustainable food. *Return to Pick Multiple - Em3*
c.Genetically pure?
Emma: After the bombs fell, the humans on the surface suffered from all sorts of genetic mutation. My mom had pure Brotherhood of Steel genes tracing back to Mariposa and Teller was born in Vault 54, so he had no mutations.
Player: a. Sounds kindof racist.

Emma: a. Not really racist per say, my family has just valued keeping genetically clean bloodlines alive, kindof viewed as their obligation to keep the Pre-Bomb world alive in a way. My great grandpa Simon Barnaky was the leader of the Brotherhood of Steel when they started letting Ghouls, Super Mutants, and even a few Deathclaws into the ranks. Though I have to admit he was a bit reluctant about it. My mother always respected and fought to protect mutated individuals, she just wouldn't have a child with one. *Return to Pick Multiple - E3*

Emma: Hey, how's it goin?
Player: a. Just wanted to see how your robots are coming along.
b. Have you blown up any robots lately?
Emma: b. Ha ha... Not yet, but maybe soon. I know how much you like watching things go boom.
both. Just been going over some Robobrain designs my mother had. She was always particularly interested in Robobrains. I think I might have messed up a bit though... Sigh...
Player: a. What did you do this time?
b. That sounds like fun.
c. I know, I saw the Pig-Bot stumbling around the farm... (Available after talking to Pig-Bot)
Emma: To make a Robobrain work, you need a real organic brain. Nobody wanted to lend me their brain, so I decided to use the pig that dad was going to BBQ for dinner. Now he is oinking his way around the farm as a robot.
If you could bring the brain back to me, that would be great!
Player: a. Why was you mom so interested in Robobrains?
b. Ok *End Conversation*
Emma: Her grandpa was turned into a Robobrain when captured by the Calculator. He somehow recognized his locket and remembered his former life and then turned on the Calculator. That is the locket I have here. She wanted to know how it was possible for a robot to retain memories.

Emma: Hey, how's it goin?
Player: So, do you hang out much with the other people around here?
Emma: The people here are great, we sometimes argue and get mad at each other, especially Kaylee... But I really like the people who live here.

Emma: a. I absolutely love Karen. She was always there taking care of me, even before I had a chance to ask. When Kaylee and I were fighting and I would run off to my room crying, she would always bring me icecream or hot chocolate to try to cheer me up. She would even sing to me. Emma: To put it simply... I honestly don't know...
Player:

Emma: It wasn't unusual for us to fight before, but a few years back she went from being my best friend to never wanting to talk to me. Maybe she got mad because I was hanging out with my boyfriend at the time more than her, or maybe she just got tired of me being weak and clumsy and holding her back from having adventures. Or maybe an alien possessed her brain.

Emma:
a. Kaylee has always been so incredibly brave and resourceful and strong, she is perfectly adapted to survive in the Wasteland. On the other hand, I feel like I just constantly need someone to save me and I can't contribute much. Maybe she just got tired of me slowing her down.
b. I was going out with this guy for about a year, until I finally realized I wasn't happy having a needy boy hanging around all the time because he had nothing else going on in his life. He was spending so much time around me I think Kaylee might have felt I like him more than her... But I would never pick a guy over my best friend.
c. That kind of thing happens you know, aliens come down from outer space in little flying saucers and mess with peoples brains.
Player:

Player: (Why mad at Emma?) I was talking to Emma earlier and she said the two of you don't talk anymore. Are you mad?
Kaylee: I fail to see why that is any of your business...
Player:
a. (BFF) I wish I had a best friend like that, but all my friends were nuked...
b. (Stop being mean) Seriously, just stop being such a bitch.
c. (Just tell me) You know I will annoy you till you tell me anyways, why not just kip that part and get straight to the telling.
Kaylee:
a. Go talk to Cal then, I doubt he will be doing any dieing anytime soon.

b. What! I wold never think that. Emma is the smartest person I know, I was honored to have someone like her want to go on missions with me. I thought she stopped coming with me because she found me boring and not smart enough for her...
c. He was kind of a wussbag, had no life of his own and made Emma the center of his existence, always trying to please her. But I wasn't angry about that, I honestly just felt sorry for the poor chump.
