KarenName: Karen Age: 30 Birthplace: Brotherhood of Steel Bunker Gamma, St. Louis, Missouri Height: 5,7 Weight: 130 Eye Color: Blue Hair Color: Blonde Rank: Initiate Scribe, Minority Faction of the Brotherhood of Steel Family: Father - Unnamed Paladin, Mother - Star Paladin Sierra, Sister - Kaylee, Great Grandmother - Betty Preferred Weapon: Pistol Favorite Food: Brahmin burger topped with loads and load of bacon, preferably with bourbon. Hobbies: Cooking
Karen is the oldest and most responsible of the 3 girls, she was 11 when Kaylee was born and spent a lot of time taking care of the other 2 girls while their parents were off doing Brotherhood of Steel business. As a result she had to mature quickly for her age. Because she sacrificed a lot of her own childhood to be there for her sister, she has a bit of a wild side that she hides behind her good girl smile. She tries to play the role model by day and then go out and have fun in secret. Only Cal knows of her antics, and he isn't going to tell anyone. Karen is still young, but she is hitting that point where deep down she is worried about missing the chance to start a family. She however thinks that almost all of the guys in the wasteland have no class or morals and can't be trusted with much of anything, especially when it comes to having a family. She would love to start a family if she could ever find the right guy that was an honest person but not too stuck up that he would judge her sometimes wild antics. Karen treats Emma like family and adores Cal for being such a loyal and non judgmental guy. She loves her sister more than anything else, but they have a troubled relationship that you can help sort out. If you introduce her to Dos, the two of them will hit it off and are a good match together.
As a companion Karen is a medic. She is skilled at providing the player with food and medicine to keep him/her running at 100% and can even learn skills to push the players limits beyond. She cannot wear any specialized armors, but she is still a good shot with a pistol. It is still probably best not to rely on her too much on the front lines of a battle. She is most efficient if kept back from direct combat and used to heal you during or after a tough fight.

Stage A -
Stage A for Karen is short and simple. Karen is a very friendly person and as a result it is quite easy to become friends with her and only takes the one conversation. No tricks, just have fun with it.
A1. Karen: Hello, what bring you to our humble home? Player: a. Just curious b. (Trying to help) I heard you needed a water purifier and I wanted to help. c. (Pretty Ladies) I saw some pretty ladies and I had to stop and say hi. Karen: a. I hope you like the place. b. We definitely need one of those, you should talk to Teller. c. You wouldn't be talking about me, would you? *flirty* Player: a. (Nice place) This is a nice little spot you have here. b. (Kindof boring...) Not much going on around here, is there? c. (Of course) Who else, one look at those pretty blue eyes, and the rest of the world is just a blur. Karen: a and b. Ya, it is safe, secure, but not much for excitment. I guess that is the symptom of stability. c. Ohhhh! *blushes* *End Conversation*

Stage B -
This is where you start to get to know a bit about Karen and where she came from. This stage is designed to give some more backstory on what happened to the Brotherhood and how they ended up with the radiation free food from Vault 54. It is pretty hard to lose Karen's trust at this point and it is a straight forward progression to Stage C and Stage F.
B1. Karen: Hello, back again I see. Player: a. Of course b. I guess Karen: b. You don't sound too excited. both. Here, I just cooked up some bacon, I know you will totally love it! Player: a. (What's that?) I don't think I have heard of this bacon before. b. (The pre-war food?) People used to eat that before the bombs. Karen: a. Only the best food ever in the pre-war world. both. Miraculously Vault 54 had 100% non mutated pigs in it. So now we raise pigs in hope that we can spread fresh meat with no radiation to everyone in the Wasteland. Player: a. (Sounds great!) b. (What for?) What is bacon good for? c. (I like Brahman) I prefer a good ole brahman burger for breakfast. Karen: a and b. It is incredible by itself, but even better with eggs or on a brahman burger. Best food to eat when you have a hangover... oh, I didn't mean to say that out load... c. You need to try bacon on a brahman burger! I always crave those when I'm totally wasted... oh, I didn't mean to say that out load... *End Conversation*
B2. Karen: Hello, back again I see. Player: (What's you job?) What do you do around here to stay busy? Karen: I do most of the cooking around here, that's my favorite thing to do. I used to take care of the kids, but they are all grown up, so now I just do first-aid when Kaylee gets herself shot or Emma burns herself. Player: a. (You can patch me up!) So next time I am hurt you can patch me up and make me feel all better. b. (Where did you learn?) Where did you learn to do first aid? c. (I prefer hurting others) d. (Kids?) You have kids? Karen: a. Yes, I can definitely do that. c. That isn't nice... all. *except d* I was traveling with the Brotherhood of Steel when I was younger. They trained me to nurse the wounded. I was supposed to go into training to be a full fledged Scribe before we lost contact with headquarters. d. Oh, hell no... I was a teenager when our parents died, so I ended up basically raising Kaylee and Emma from that point on. *End Conversation* B3. Karen: Hello, back again I see. Player: (Travel with the Brotherhood?) I'm sure you have loads of interesting stories from your days traveling with the Brotherhood. Karen: It was alright I guess. We got to help a lot of people in need, but the constant traveling with no steady home made it a bit difficult growing up. Player: a. (Isn't the Brotherhood selfish?) I though the Brotherhood of Steel only helped their own people and hoarded technology, not shared. b. (Why the traveling?) Why did you move around so much? Karen: The 'Minority Faction' as we were called saw it important to gain support of locals to remain strong. After the crash in Chicago and the fight with the Calculator, numbers were small and spread very thin over a very, very large area. That meant a lot of traveling back and forth from the Rocky Mountains to the Great Lakes. Player: *Pick Multiple* a. (Friends?) It must have been hard to make friends b. (Dangerous?) Isn't that a bit dangerous for a child? c. (Spread too thin?) Is that what caused the collapse of the Brotherhood presence in the Midwest? Karen: a. Traveling from town to town gave me the opportunity to meet a lot of people, but we never stuck around anywhere long enough to have any close friends. Player: *Option a* a. (BOS Friends?) You didn't have any friends in the Brotherhood? b. (Sounds Hard) *Return to Pick Multiple* Karen: *Option a* a. There was nobody in Talon Squad remotely close to my age. They all just looked at me as a child.
b. What could be safer than being surrounded by a caravan on 50 soldiers in full Power Armor with Energy Weapons? c. There was no epic battle, no last stand that ended the Minority Faction. They just continued to integrate locals into the organization and settling into tribal towns, and starting families. Before long most Paladins found their local loyalties more important then the Brotherhood itself. *End Conversation* B4. Karen: Hello, back again I see. Player: (Cooking skills?) How did you go from the Brotherhood to being a chef? Karen: That all happened when we got to Vault 54. There was not as much fighting, a lot more free time, and readily available fresh food. Player: *Pick Multiple* a. (Vault 54?) What is Vault 54? b. (Why Stay?) Why did you guys stay there? c. (Fresh food?) What do you mean by fresh food? Karen: a. It was a vault full of farmers out in rural Kansas. When it opened, they build a small farming community around the outside of the vault. Everyone there was super friendly, it was such a happy place. b. By that time we had lost all contact with headquarters at Cheyenne Mountain, so after we rescued the vault from the Reavers, we just decided to stay. Player: *Option b* b. (Reavers?)
Karen: *Option b* b. Teller or Cal would be the best to ask about that, I was just a medic at the time. *Activate Conversation Option with Cal and Teller*
c. They had radiation free fruits, vegetables, and even pigs in Vault 54. I learned to cook from the locals there, they made the most amazing food... Though a bit fattening... *End Conversation* B5. Karen: Hello, back again I see. Player: (Why come here?) Why did you leave Vault 54 and come here? Karen: Vault 54 was great, we stayed there a long time, Kaylee and Emma were born there. However, Maria and Teller made a breakthrough with their research and felt it necessary to use that knowledge to benefit the Wasteland. So half of use left to travel to the east coast and further the research and hopefully save the world. Player: *Pick Multiple* a. (Research?) What kind of research? b. (Did you want to stay?) c. (Only half?) Why only half of the Brotherhood. Karen: a. They found what they thought would allow the Wasteland a sustainable and radiation free food source. b. I loved the village at the vault, but my boyfriend at the time had just broke my heart, so I made the rash decision to go. Sometimes I regret that... Player: *Option b* b. (Boyfriend) Do you want to talk about it? Karen: *Option b* b. No...
c. There were about 50 of us when we first rescued Vault 54, almost half decided they wanted to stay, many of them had started families with the locals and forgot he allegiance to the Brotherhood's mission. *End Conversation*

Stage C -
Stage C and Stage F are opened up at the same time, giving the player the choice of whether they want to take a balanced approach or push more in the direction of naughty or nice. C is all about building a close relationship and trust with Karen. This is also where you can unlock the story arch about her sister, which will mean a great deal to Karen if you can help her work things out. You will also get to start talking to her and helping her plan and build the restaurant or bar she has always dreamed of having.
C1.
Karen: Good to see you!
Player: (Ever start a restaurant?) You are a very good cook, have you ever thought about opening up a restaurant?
Karen: I think that would be amazing, I would absolutely love to share my food with more people. I'm not sure I would be up to all the extra responsibility though.
Player: a. (You would do great) b. (Everyone needs bacon) c. (Too hard?) Are you saying it would be too hard for you?
Karen: It would be a lot more work keeping everything supplied, and then figuring out how much to charge to offset the costs. Then I would need people to take orders and get the food to the table, and then having plans to deal with customers that want to cause trouble.
Player: *Pick Multiple* a. (I can help you out) I know a thing or two about management, I can help you set something up. b. (Type of restaurant?) What kind of restaurant would you want to start? c. (Your sister can help!) Kaylee would be a big help when it comes to running a restaurant.
Karen: a. That would be a huge help, I guess the first thing we would have to do is look for a building to operate out of, any ideas? *Player must build or choose building in his/her settlement to start the project*
b. That's a hard question, sometimes I would really like to start a nice wholesome family restaurant like they had back in the Midwest... But then other times I think it might be more fun to start a bar... What do you think?
Player: *Option b* a. (Family restaurant) I think you should serve healthy, radiation free food for the entire family. b. (Bar) I think you would be a great bartender, and think of all the interesting gossip you would hear. c. (Do both) Why not have a restaurant that has a bar in it?
Karen: *Option b* a. I think that would give me the best opportunity to make the best food for the most people. b. People do say some very impulsive things when you serve them a good drink. c. Hmmm... It would be a bit more work, but that just might work.
c. She might be a big help at scaring away the customers... Though I guess if I need a bouncer she wouldn't have a problem throwing problem customers out the door.
*End Conversation*
C2. Karen: Good to see you! Player: (Raising Kids?) It must have been tough helping to raise two children when you were still practically a child yourself. Karen: It was stressful, but those two girls mean the world to me. Player: *Pick Multiple* a. (Ever want you own?) Have you ever thought about having kids of your own? b. (Emma?) Are you close with Emma? Karen: a. I would like to have a family, but there are no quality men out in the Wasteland, just a bunch of untrustworthy Raiders, dirty Wasters, and military types that would rather get their hands on a new gun than all over a woman's voluptuous, sweaty, naked body as she lets out a soft moan and... Ohhh *blushed* sorry... took that a bit far... Player: a. (Just be patient) I would introduce you to some of my friends, but they all sort of died 200 years ago... b. (What about me?) c. (Someone's horny...) Karen: *Option a* a. That's ok, I'm fine on my own. b and c. Ohh... *blushes* ummmm... b. I didn't realize you...
b. Even though she isn't technically family, she was only 8 years old when her mother died, so I did the best I could to help Teller raise her. I would do anything for that girl, she is such a doll. *End Conversation*
C3.
*Activated by Kaylee - C2* Karen: Good to see you! Player: (You have a sister?) So, you have a sister, but I have never really seen you with her... Karen: Well, when she isn't in one of her 'don't talk to me' moods, I have a sister. Half the time I feel like she would prefer me not to exist. Player: a. (Sounds complicated) b. (She's a bltch) c. (That's what siblings do) Karen: b. Don't say that! She just isn't good around people... or animals.. or robots... all. Kaylee is just hurt and mad at the whole world, I'm not sure how to get through to her anymore. The more I try, the more she thinks I'm the enemy. Player: *Pick Multiple* a. (Was she always like this?) b. (You're a good sister) c. (Parents?) Karen: a and c. Kaylee was a very vulnerable child after our parents died, but as she hit her teenage years her tears became anger and instead of looking for someone to comfort her, she started looking to pick fights to prove she was tough...
b. I just wish she could see that I was the one that was always there for her. I wanted to break down when our parents died, but I stayed strong for her, I wanted to go off and do wild things, but I stayed responsible for her sake. Player: a. (Kaylee said...) Kaylee seems to think you just want to tell her what to do all the time. b. (Overprotective?)
Karen: Our mother died... I couldn't be both her best friend and play the parent role she needed... Even when our parents were alive, they were always off fighting and not there to teach her right from wrong, I had to do that. I would love nothing more than to do sister things with her... I... I just never got that chance. Player: a. (Tell her that) Maybe you should say that to her. b. (Tough choices) c. (You did good) Karen: a. Hmmm... maybe I should. b and c. Sometimes I wonder if I made the right choices. *End Conversation*

Stage D -
Stage D for all of the companions is the 'Dating' stage. It is designed to be 3 dates that will have the player and the companion choosing a location and going there for a conversation with some simple scripted events.
I have currently, however, marked any of the dating elements as 'non essential' to the mod. These stages are optional work that I will complete after the rest of the mod is done if there is a demand for such content.
I want to focus more on making characters that are strong and interesting individuals. I do not feel like it is necessary to make some sort of dating simulator to create a strong bond with these npcs. It may happen in the future, but I just don't see it as a priority.
In stage D Karen will only date a female player character, and only if you have not pushed her and Dos together.

Stage E -
Stage E is the logical conclusion of Stage D. After dating the character and choosing dialogue that makes them like you as well as giving gifts and completing quests for them, the character will eventually fall in love with the player.
As I have cut Stage D from being necessary, so is Stage E. Feel free to tell me if you would really like this feature, I will definitely read peoples suggestions and such.

Stage F -
Stage F is all about digging deeper into the hidden side of Karen and creating some light flirting. Karen needs to know that you aren't going to be judgmental of her antics, and once she realizes you aren't she is excited to have a new friend to share her secrets with. You can also unlock some conversations with Cal her, once you realize he is the only one who knows about Karen's other side. This stage is just about having fun.
F1. Karen: Good to see you! Player: (Ever do anything wild?) What do you do when you get bored around here? Karen: Well, I like to bake new kinds of pies and cakes. Player: a. (That's not wild...) I don't think you understood the question... b. (Ha! Really?) That's the best you got? c. (You can be honest with me) I won't tell anyone. Karen: Well... I guess if you promise not to tell anyone, I've got to keep my 'good girl' image and all... I like to go out to Raider parties and get totally wasted and blow off steam. Player: *Pick Multiple* a. (Wow, I didn't expect that) b. (Raiders are dangerous) c. (I knew it!) d. (Does anyone else know?) Karen: a and c. It just gets stressful being the responsible one all the time and fixing everyone else's problems, sometimes I just want to cause some problems myself. Player: a. (They let you in?) b. (Why Raiders?) Karen: a. I dress up as a raider so they just assume I am one of them. I use the name 'Karma X' ha ha... b. No rules or judgment. b and d. Well, after a while I realized that Cal had been secretly dressing up as a Raider and following me. I was afraid he wanted to stop me, but he wasn't judgmental. He just wanted to make sure he was there to shoot up anyone who messed with me. He minds his own business when we are out, he is kind of great like that. *End Conversation*
F2. Karen: Good to see you! Player: (You like liquor?) What do you normally like to drink? Karen: When I go party it is usually Raider moonshine or cheap crap, but that is just to get drunk quickly. I however try to collect fine quality liquors when I can, aged bourbon and the like, and keep it for when I want to drink something more classy. Player: a. (That stuff can kill you) b. (Oooo... Fancy) c. (I can find some) Karen: a. So can everything else out in this Wasteland... b. I like to bring out the nice glasses and sip it over ice. c. That would be amazing, I might even have to share some with you.
F3.
Karen: Good to see you!
Player: (Other trouble?) So, we've established the fact that you are trouble, so what other kinds of messes do you get into?
Karen: Well, me and Emma like to play pranks on people, especially Cal. I also like to startle Pace and see if I can ride him. I like to try sharpshooting trick shots when nobody is around, and sometimes I go skinny dipping in the lake when nobody is around.
Player: *Pick Multiple* a. (You're all kinds of trouble) b. (Pranks?) Why do that? c. (Riding Pace?) You try to ride that big robot? d. (Sharpshooting?) I didn't know you were a good shot. e. (Skinny dipping?) Tell me more.
Karen: a. I guess I kind of am, aren't I?
b. Sometimes it is just fun to play jokes on people. Cal in particular is super smart but always oblivious to the simple things right in front of his face.
c. If you hop on the back of Pace and then do something to strtle him, he will go into berserk mode. I made a game of trying to ride on his back as long as I can before I fall off and he realizes it is just me and calms down.
d. I like to test out my shooting skills by creating difficult targets to hit and seeing how many attempts it takes me to make the shot.
Player: *Option d* d. (I'm surprised) Kaylee told me you were a horrible shot.
Karen: *Option d* d. It makes her feel good to think she is the special one following in mom's footsteps, so I let her believe that. But I am a damn good shot as well.
e. It feels so great to just go out late at night when no one is looking and just free yourself of everything and swim.
Player: *Option e* a. (Radiation) Doesn't the water have radiation? b. (When and where?) Can I get some details?
Karen: *Option e* a. So does everything else in the world... b. Wouldn't you like to know, don't go getting too excited thinking about it.
*End Conversation*

Other Dialogue -
Karen / Kaylee Story Arch
This is a sequence of conversations that uses the complex sibling relationship between Karen and Kaylee to help flesh out who both characters are under the surface. Completing this sequence will bring the player a whole lot closer to both characters and give the player a much better reputation with all the characters in this mod.
Kaylee KK.
*Activated by Karen Conversation C3* Kaylee: Back again... Player: (Your sister) talked to your sister about you. Kaylee: Why are you butting your nose into things that are not any of your business? Player: a. (Thought I could help) b. (She loves you) c. (I was bored) Kaylee: You're being annoying... Player: *Pick Multiple* a. (She sacrificed a lot) You know, she gave up a lot for you. b. (Be friends) She wants to be friends again. c. She raised you) Consider her side of things, she had to be the one that was hard on you because there was no one else to do it. Kaylee: a. That doesn't mean she has the right to still treat me like a child. Player: *Option a* a. (You're acting like a child) Kaylee: *Option a* a. You're acting like a child... humph... *Return to Pick Multiple*
b. And be like sisters again... I don't know what to say to that...
c. I... I never thought about that... I was all wrapped up in feeling sorry for myself about our parents death that I never though about how much she did to fill that role for me... Player: *Option c* a. (I'll but out) It is up to you what you want to do, I'll leave you to talk to her. b. (Just talk to her) Don't be scared, just talk to her already. Kaylee: I need some time to think... She lost her parents too, and because of me she almost lost her sister... I'm such a jerk... *End Conversation*
Karen KK2. Karen: Oh my god! I'm so excited I could kiss you! I don't know what you said to her, but Kaylee actually wants to hang out with her big sister again. Player: a. (That's good to hear) b. (I like kisses) c. (What will you do?) Karen: b. Hmmm... maybe later cutie, right now I have stuff to plan. all. I don't know what I am going to do, I need to think up something really fun. Player: a. (Raider party) b. (Girls night) c. (Prank Cal) Karen: a. I guess she would like that. I'd be really nervous showing that side of me to my little sister. Player: *Option a* a. (She would love it) Seeing that side of you would help her connect with you more. Karen: I guess you're right.
b. I could get Emma to join in and we could do makeovers and get drunk. I don't know if there is enough bourbon in the entire Wasteland to get Kaylee to do something girlie like that.. Player: *Option a* a. (She may surprise you) b. (You might get punched) Karen: *Option a* a. She did like it as a kid... b. I think it is mostly just you she wants to punch. You have such a punch able face.
c. We do always have fun playing tricks on Cal. Maybe we should paint him purple while he is charging for the night, and then pretend like he is perfectly normal and had robot colorblindness. *End Conversation*
Cal CKK. Cal: Yo Player: (Something new going on?) Cal: How did you know? Did Emma tell you? Apparently my optics are malfunctioning with age... sigh... I'm only 86 years old... So I am suffering from color blindness. Now I must go find a fiber automated recoil transmitter to fix my eyes. Player: a. (Interesting acronym) b. (You're purple, dude...) Cal: a. Ya, a F.A.R.T... wait a minute, you don't think someones playing a trick on me... b. Really? You mean they fooled me again? Damn... I probably deserved that for something. *End Conversation*
Kaylee KK3. Kaylee: Wow... I didn't realize my sister could be such a badass... Just wow... Player: a. (I knew it) b. (What happened?) c. (Fun story?) Kaylee: We dressed up as Raiders and went to one of her parties. I was nervous being around all those people at first and was kind of hiding behind her, but then we took a few shots or bourbon and a few more shots with our guns, and it was all good. Player: *Pick Multiple* a. (Who got shot?) b. (Sounds like fun) Kaylee: Some guy was being a jerk to me, so Karen shot him in the leg and then shot the guns right out of the hands of both of his friends hands when they tried to retaliate. She said, "If you apologize nicely to my sister I will remove the bullet and stitch you up." Then she proceeded to remove the bullet she shot him with. *End Conversation*
Karen / Dos Story Arch
When the player becomes friends with Dos he can start introducing him to different girls, most of which end up awkwardly. Dos and Karen however hit it off and you can help them get together if you so choose. My goal was to keep it very light hearted and fun, nothing too serious. You can choose to go the route of talking to Cal and giving Karen the note, or just skip all that and put Dos on the spot directly.
This obviously cannot happen if the player is pursuing a relationship with either of the two characters.
Have You Met Dos?
DK.
Player: (Have you met Dos?)
Karen: Howdy.
Dos: Ummm... Hi.
Karen: Oh, are you shy?
Player: a. (Not usually) He is usually a very confident guy, it must be something about you, Karen. b. (He is a cyborg) Sometimes his robot parts are in an anti-social mood.
Karen: a. Hmmm... What could that ever be, a young attractive female like myself making a guy forget how to talk right? That doesn't happen, does it? b. Oh, maybe Emma should have a look at him. Though I can imagine the awkward silence would be... well... awkward with those two.
Dos: I like your hair...
Player: a. (Good one) That's not cliche at all! b. (Thank you) I worked real hard on it today. c. (She makes great food!) You have to try her bacon burgers, they are the best.
Dos: a. You're not helping... b. I wasn't talking to you... c. I've never heard of this 'bacon' you speak of.
Karen: a and b. Why thank you, nobody usually notices when I get my hair done, it is nice to know somebody appreciates it. c. Oh my god! You really have to try it, bacon is the best food in the whole wide world!
Player: a. (Ask about the base) Karen, didn't you have something you needed to ask Dos? *Quest 1* b. (Invite him) You should invite him over for some breakfast sometime.
Karen: a. Oh, yes, Mr. Dos, it would mean so much to me if you could show me to this Reaver base of yours. My sister wants me to return her armor to her, but the Reavers currently have it. I love my sister dearly, if you could be a doll and show me the way I would be ever so grateful. *Quest 1*
b. Yes, delightful idea. You must come over for breakfast tomorrow and share in the bountiful feast of glorious bacon!
Dos: a. Just Dos is fine, Mr. Dos is my dad. And yes, I would love to show you to our Reaver Movement Church. b. I wouldn't miss it.
*End Conversation*
Dos
DKD.
Player: (Breakfast) So, did you enjoy breakfast with Karen?
Dos: Hell ya, dude. That bacon stuff is incredible. Oh, and that girl is drop dead gorgeous.
Player: *Pick Multiple* a. (Bacon) So I bet you are hooked on bacon now, right? b. (Karen) Does that mean you and Karen are hitting it off?
Dos: a. It is amazing that those ugly little oinking fellows taste so good once you fry them up... What do you call those things again, pugs?
Player: *Option a* a. (Yes) Yes, we eat pugs. b. (No) It's Pigs, pugs are a type of dog.
Dos: *Option a* Ahhh, ok.
Dos: *Option b* b. I really like that girl do you really think a classy girl like that would be interested in me?
Player: *Option b* a. (Of course) You are a smart guy with strong morals and badass ninja skills, what more could a girl want? b. (No) You're kindof a nerd... c. (That's my girl) Karen is my girl.
Dos: *Option b* a. Hmmm... I guess I need to gather up the courage to ask her out on a date. b and c. Ohhh... *End Conversation*
Player: *Option b > Option a* a. (I'll help you!) b. (Lets talk to Cal)
Dos: *Option b > Option a* What does that mean? Should I be worried?
Player: Oh, you will find out soon enough *laughs*
*End Conversation*
Dos and Cal
DC.
Player: (Have you met Dos?)
Cal: The funny looking Reaver fellow?
Player: a. (He is a cool dude) b. (That's the guy)
Cal: a. If you say so, Mr. 'Expert on all things cool.' b. Ya, I know him.
Dos: Hello Cal.
Player: a. (He needs help) He has a crush on Karen and needs your advice. b. (Asking a girl out) Do you know anything about asking a girl on a date?
Cal: Oh, I got just the thing! One second... let me find where I put my crayon... *Cal jots something on a piece of paper* Here you go, this should work perfectly. *Cal hands player not written in crayon*
Dos: Is this guy serious?
Player: a. (He is a genius) I haven't seen Cal be wrong yet. b. (He is a bit whack) He may be going a bit senial in his robot old age...
a. Dos: Well... Ok then... *Dos Leaves*
b. Cal: You may not be entirely wrong in that assessment.
Dos: Well... Ok then... *Dos Leaves*
Player: a. (You're crazy) b. (Are you serious?) Or are you just messing with the new guy?
Cal: a. Just a bit... b. Ha ha, wouldn't it be so much more fun to try it out firsthand?

Player: (I have a note) Dos asked me to pass this note to you.
Karen: Oooo... what is that... Oh, wow, haha. That Dos is such a funny and creative guy, how did he ever know how much I get a kick out of childish games?
Player: a. (He is just smart) He seems like a very observant guy. b. (Cal told him) It was Cal.
Karen: a. He really is, isn't he. b. Oh, that crazy robot. Sometimes I think he knows me better than any of the humans I know.
Player: a. (Answer?) So, what is your answer? b. (Dos is a nerd) c. (Childish games?)
Karen: a. Of course! Here, you can take this back to Dos for me! b. No he isn't, he is a cool dude! Here, you can take this back to Dos for me! c. When I was young and traveling I would see other kids play these games, but I nver got to be part of the fun because I was an outsider.
Player: a. (Courier?) What do I look like, some sort of courier? b. (Ok) Will do.
Karen: a. Yea, pretty much. I think you would make a great wasteland courier. b. Sweet!

Player: (Note) I have a note for you.
Dos: You didn't really, did you?
Player: a. (Yes) Of course I did. b. (No) *End Conversation*
Dos: Is it silly that I am nervous to read this note?
Player: a. (Yes) b. (No)
Dos: Great Mainframe in the sky! She said yes!... I guess that means I should go take her on a date.
Player: a. (Well... yeah...) Come on dude, of course... b. (Why?) Why would you want to do that?
Dos: b. You're joking, right? both. What should I take her to go do?
Player: a. (Diner) Take her someplace to get food she hasn't tried before, maybe some nice wine. b. (Scenic spot) Find a place with a nice romantic view and take her there to makeout for a while. c. (Museum) Go find a museum and break into it.
Dos: Hmm... That's not a bad idea.

Dos and Karen
DK2.
Player: (Dos has a question) Dos has something he wants to ask you.
Karen: Oh, really?
Dos: Wait! What? I'm not ready, you can't just put me on the spot like that.
Player: If I gave you time to overthink it you were going to over complicate things or chicken out.
Dos: I wouldn't chicken out! I just need time to think of what to say.
Player: a. (Doesn't matter) It isn't about 'what' you say, you just have to say something. b. (Think quickly) Well, you better think fast. c. (Just ask) It isn't hard, just ask her.
Dos: You're not helping...
Karen: Uhhh... Guys... I'm still here, I can hear you.
Player: a. (Oh crap!) I forgot she could still hear us. b. (Stop interrupting) Give me a minute, I'm coaching Dos, we will get to you soon enough.
Karen: You guys are ridiculous, but in a cute sort of way.
Player: a. (She thinks you're cute) Dude, there is your 'in' tell her you think she is ridiculous and cute too. b. (whisper... whisper...) *whispering*
Dos: *Option b* b. I have no idea what you are saying...
Player: *Option b* b. I'm trying to be quiet so that Karen won't hear us.
Karen: *Option b* b. I could hear you perfectly fine.
Player: *Option b* b. Damn!
Dos: I think you are ridiculously cute as well, would you like to go on a date with me sometime?
Player: a. (Good one!) That was great, high five! b. (Stay Quiet)
Karen: I kind of said ridiculous 'and' cute, but close enough... But sure, I would love to.
Player: a. (Wasn't that easy?) See, that wasn't hard at all. b. (I'll leave now) I'll leave you guys to your business. *End Conversation*
Dos: I'm still not sure if you are more of a help or hindrance...
Player: a. (Come on!) I was very helpful, you should be thanking me. b. (I'll leave now) I'll leave you guys to your business. *End Conversation*
Karen: I can still hear you, I am standing right here...
Player: b. (I'll leave now) I'll leave you guys to your business.
Dos: b. Thank you
Karen: b. Goodbye!

Player: (Dos?) How did things go with Dos?
Karen: It was great, he took me to this skyscraper and we claimed it together. He had to help me a few times. I didn't realize he was so athletic.
Player: a. (Sounds dangerous) b. (You like him?)
Karen: a. Isn't everything around here? b. Oh, yes. Dos is great. I am so happy to finally meet a guy as honest and moral as him but still a genuinely fun guy. Thank you soooo much for introducing me to him, I really owe you one.
Player: a. (No problem) It was my pleasure. b. (Any babies?) Do you plan on making any little Doses anytime soon? c. (Free bacon?) Is that an offer that you are going to five me free food?
Karen: a. You're great. b. Wow! Slow down there, just because I like the guy doesn't mean I'm ready to start popping out babies. c. Don't I already give you free food?
